Come and celebrate the first day of spring with the Center! Stroll through Preserve and make your very own wildflower seed shaker!

Public Programs

Come and join the Delaware Center for the Inland Bays during one (or more!) of our public programs! Programs are  suitable for kids of all ages. Registration is required for certain programs.

Join us as we walk through the James Farm Ecological Preserve and learn about the transition from winter to spring. To prepare for spring, participants will get to make their very own wildflower seed shaker and Center staff will be giving a DIY vermicomposting demonstration. Closed-toe shoes are encouraged. Please bring water, sunscreen and insect repellant, if desired since the Preserve can be buggy. Please note: Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian present at all times. Thank you for your cooperation. By registering for this program you will be added to the Center's e-newsletter.This program is weather permitting. Attendance is FREE, donations can be made on our website at your discretion. Walk-ups are welcome! Questions? Contact Maddie Fox at mfox@inlandbays.org
