Seeds of Caring

Children will collect gently used children's books and make bookmarks for the Read to Succeed Foundation.

Who this Anywhere Project is for:Ages 2-12. Not sure if this project is the right fit for your kids? Email us with questions at programs@seedsofcaring.org.What you&#x27;ll be doing:Every child should have access to books. Learn about the young changemaker who founded the <a href="https://www.readtosucceedfoundation.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Read to Succeed Foundation </a>and then get your hands to work by coloring bookmarks and selecting 5+ gently used children&#x27;s books to donate to kids who love to read. When you&#x27;ll be doing it:This Anywhere Project can be done at home, school, or wherever you are!This project is on-going. Families and groups may participate anytime until the project ends on March 19th. Donations may be porch-dropped from 9am - 7pm on March 17th-19th at a Seeds of Caring volunteer&#x27;s home in Worthington, Dublin, Gahanna, Powell, or Grandview. Full addresses will be provided in your service packet.How it all works:Once you have completed registration, you will receive a confirmation email from Eventbrite with a link to your service packet. This packet includes project instructions, guided discussions and more. If for some reason you cannot access this file, please email programs@seedsofcaring.org for assistance.The meaning-making:Engaging children’s hearts and minds before getting their hands active with service is a vital step in raising caring, compassionate humans. In every Seeds of Caring service packet, you&#x27;ll find quick, easy-to-use guides to support you in leading meaning-making conversations! This project&#x27;s guided discussion focuses on kindness and social action.Approximate Cost: &lt;$5 for supplies. Use craft supplies on hand, or the printable template provided in the service packet!Why you&#x27;ll be invited to donate:Every time we&#x27;re able to design, coordinate, and offer an opportunity for kids to give back, it&#x27;s with the help of supporters like you.
