Hosted by the San Bernardino County District Attorney and Second District Supervisor

District Attorney Jason Anderson and Second District Board Supervisor Jesse Armendarez invite you to please join them for the eighth annual National Crime Victims&#x27; Rights Week Memorial. National Crime Victims&#x27; Rights Week (NCVRW) will be commemorated April 23-29, 2023. Since 1981, NCVRW is celebrated every year in April to unite crime survivors, victim assistance, justice professionals and communities across America to pay tribute to victims. The 2023 theme—Survivor Voices: Elevate. Engage. Effect Change.—calls upon communities to amplify the voices of survivors and commit to creating an environment where survivors have the confidence that they will be heard, believed, and supported.This year&#x27;s West Valley memorial event will take place on Monday, April 24, 2023, at 5:30 PM. It will be located at Central Park&#x27;s Freedom Courtyard, which is an outdoor grass bowl area located on the west side of the Goldy S. Lewis Community Center.There will be resource tables available both before and after the memorial program, so please come early or plan to stay after to visit the tables. Please bring your loved one&#x27;s photo t-shirt and/or framed photo for display at the event. There will also be a memorial event in the High Desert on Wednesday, April 26, 2023.
