After postponing our original date for #3 because of winter weather, we&#x27;re trying again.February 14th!*﻿**Elevate Northern Michigan is a quarterly summit series focused on boosting knowledge, shifting attitudes, decreasing stigma, and building support for youth mental health by learning about:<ul><li>psychology/neuroscience</li><li>practical well-being tools</li><li>leadership skills</li></ul>All are welcome at the summit — particularly young people aged 16-24 – and those who love them.Our third Summit is 1-2:30p on Tuesday, February 14th at Northwestern Michigan College’s Innovation Center.We Fight is grateful for NMC’s and United Way of Northwest Michigan&#x27;s support and sponsorship of Elevate Northern Michigan.<h3>Speakers for Summit #3</h3>- J﻿essie Fousset- J﻿ohn Boonstra- S﻿handy Longcore- T﻿y Curtis<h3>W﻿hy Elevate?</h3>We Fight recently underwent a strategic visioning process to better accomplish its vision: a northern Michigan where everyone plays a role in protecting our kids’ mental health.The Elevate summit series is one optimistic, science-based step towards that vision.&quot;I hope that aspiring youth leaders leave this summit with a better understanding of the skills required to project their voice and tackle systemic change with the youthful determination that makes their advocacy so unique to begin with.&quot;— Will Unger, We Fight leadership team member and Central High School senior<h3>R﻿egistration</h3>Registration is free but required as space is limited.If your northern Michigan school is interested in sending students to the Summit, please please let us know at hello@goodworkslab.org and we’ll hold seats for you.
