Cock-a-doodle-doo look what we have in store for you! Come join us for a day all about poultry!

Are you raising poultry and wondering how much feed do they need?.....how much space do they need?...why are they not laying? or are you ready to start raising some poultry but donʻt know where to start? Well join UH CTAHR Extension for a workshop and/or lecture that is dedicated to commercial poultry producers and backyard chicken enthusiasts. We will be covering topics about poultry nutrition, setting up a new farm, common disease of concern in Hawaiʻi, the National Poultry Improvement Program (NPIP) and much more!! W﻿here &amp; When:<ul><li>Big Island: Monday, March 13, 2023; Anderson Arena 47-5124 Hawaiʻi Belt Rd, Honokaa, HI 96727</li><li>Oahu: Wednesday, March 15, 2023; Urban Garden Center, 955 Kamehameha Highway, Pearl City, HI 96782</li><li>Kauai: Thursday, March 16, 2023; Workshop Location: TBA - Lecture Location: Wailua CTAHR Research Station; 7370-A Kuamoo Road Kapaa, HI, 96746</li></ul>T﻿he workshop portion will be hands-on and outdoors so please dress accordingly for the weather. The lecture portion will be indoors but space is limited. Registration is required for both the workshop and lecture sessions. Please select the tickets according to which you plan to attend. If you plan to attend both the workshop and lecture you should select a ticket for each session (i.e. workshop and lecture) on the island of your choice .
