The Minnesota Freedom Band is a Twin Cities-based (Minneapolis/St Paul), non-profit Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and Allied (GLBTA) concert, jazz, and marching band.  We are committed to presenting quality performances, providing opportunities for our members to improve musicianship, and gathering to build relationships with each other and with our community.

The Minnesota Freedom Band continues our 40th season with a diverse program of music composed or arranged by people named John!

University Baptist Church

This concert spans a number of musical styles and composers/arrangers who all have one thing in common: their name is John (or Hans, or Juan...). Enjoy the music of John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Minnesota&#x27;s own John Zdechlik, and more. Our woodwind section will be featured on a piece by J.S. Bach and our trombone section will be featured as well! Join us for an afternoon of diverse music by Johns!In addition to the concert, we will be having a SILENT AUCTION featuring the opportunity to bid for:- Autographed Minnesota Whitecaps Jersey- St. Paul Saints tickets- Twin Cities Gay Men&#x27;s Chorus tickets - 2 vouchers for 2 tickets each
