This conference is being hosted/organized collaboratively by the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office, Charlotte Fire Department, CMPD, and MEDIC. We believe that through collaborations with key community partners, we will successfully achieve our goals. As organizations that are committed to diversity and inclusion, we hold a common purpose of helping professionals succeed in their educational and professional endeavors. Your participation in this event will help foster the development of professionals in our current workforce.The Char-Meck Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion conference is a conference that is geared towards bringing professionals from all sectors, to provide training and networking resources that would help elevate their professional network. We aspire to provide professionals with skills and resources to attain professional success. Last year, the conference drew more than 150 attendees from organizations such as the City of Charlotte HR, Raleigh Police Department, Horry County Government, Charlotte Water, Norfolk Public Safety, and many more. We had over 20 dynamic presenters with a wide range of topics.
