Field Trip: Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area

Wyncote Audubon Society

Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area

Meet Field Trip Leader Judy Stepenaskie at the Visitors Center. Join us to witness the spectacle as over 100,000 snow geese gather on their way north. We’ll also see tundra swans and other waterfowl. Bring lunch. For those who want to join me, we’ll stay till dusk and look for Short-eared Owls. This is a joint field trip with the Delaware Valley Ornithological Club (DVOC). A Note About Our Field Trips:We ask folks to preregister for our field trips. This provides a means to communicate via email about any last minute changes. There are instances where the meeting location can change due to road construction, a park closure, weather conditions, or other circumstances. Preregistration also helps our field trip leaders plan a good field trip experience tailored for the number of participants. Plan to arrive a few minutes before the scheduled time of the field trip. The time stated is the STARTING time, not the arrival time. This will give you time to get yourself ready, say hello, visit a restroom and be ready to go. For all day trips, please come prepared with lunch and make sure your vehicle has a full tank of gas. Participants on a Wyncote Audubon field trip or event agree not to hold the Wyncote Audubon Society or any of its agents responsible for any accidents, losses, damages or injuries resulting from participation in the field trip or event.
