You'll learn skills for climbing, descending, braking, and tackling technical terrain. You WILL be a better rider by the end of this 4-hour course.This clinic is for you if... You have some experience on "green" trails, but would like to move up to "blue". You're new to MTB riding and want to keep up with friends or partners. Brian has over 15,000 hours of instructing experience.Our program is based on analysis of the top UCI DH, XC, and EWS Enduro contenders. Their techniques are deconstructed and then developed into steps that even beginning riders can learn. There's no better instruction available anywhere in the world to help riders build mountain bike riding skills. WHAT TO BRINGA well-tuned mountain bikeFlat pedals, NOT “clip” or “clipless,” or clipless pedals with a platform. Please remove cages from flat pedals if so equipped.Closed-toe shoes that are compatible with the pedals you’ll be using. It’s important that your pedals and shoes work together.Appropriate dress for the climate conditions. Check the weather. Coaches are PMBI (Professional Mountain Bike Instructor) certified.WHAT IF I AM NOT COMFORTABLE RIDING THE TERRAIN?Participation for everything is voluntary. Riders are NOT required to do anything that makes them uncomfortable or is above their skill level. If the coach feels the rider isn't experienced enough to be in the clinic he or she signed up for, the coach has the right for the safety of the rider to send them home.L﻿IABILITY WAIVERA﻿ll participants will be required to sign a release of liability waiver before the clinic begins. Parent signature is required for riders under 18.
