Luxembourg is home to 18 of the 20 biggest Private Equity firms in the world. The country features a reliable legal “toolbox”, a stable tax regime and features a sophisticated alternative funds’ ecosystem with all the services required to setup and manage funds in the European Union. It is regarded by many as a secure, predictable and multi-lingual jurisdiction to operate in.As of today, many US funds have their European domicile in Luxembourg to attract more European investors into their funds.
