Cleveland had ‘Upbeat’. Nashville had ‘Night Train’. LA had the ‘Lloyd Thaxton Show’. Chicago had ‘Soul Train’. Now, Palm Springs has &#x27;THE BEAT&#x27;, and you are exclusively invited to join the audience in a live taping of this enthusiastic dance variety extravaganza.The three time &quot;Best band in the valley&quot; award-winning GAND BAND will perform your favorite tunes from the early days of Rock-n-Roll on black and white tv, and travel the decades into full Technicolor. Put on your dancing shoes, dress in garb from the 50&#x27;s through the 70&#x27;s and relive the sounds of the Mid-Century and beyond!THE BEAT features songs from the likes of The Supremes, Janis Joplin, Dusty Springfield, The Doors, Sonny and Cher, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Nancy Sinatra and many more!You can enjoy free-flowing vintage specialty cocktails, wine, and beer to complement our retro menu. Our own Chef Dave has created 4 secret, classic courses that reflect the music and the dishes you know and love from a moment in time that was simpler, yet still rich in culture.
