Join us as we honor our ancestors through a day of action and remembrance at the African Burial Ground.

Bedford-Church African Burial Ground

It&#x27;s a story of Africans, Europeans, and The First Nations. It’s a story of fur, gold, sugar, and tobacco. Ultimately it’s a tale about people and their relationships - to each other and to the land. Walking tours depart from the Flatbush African Burial Ground fence weaving on Church Avenue.Rain or shine, we’ll be at the African Burial Ground in Flatbush. We hope you will be too.However, if you need to take a raincheck, feel free to reschedule your ticket. Also, remember:If your answer is yes to any of the following questions, please stay home and reschedule your ticket:In the past 14 days, have you had any COVID-19 symptoms, including, but not limited to, fever of above 100.4 degree F?In the past 14 days, have you tested positive for COVID-19?In the past 14 days, have you had close contact with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19?
