Mindful Globe and Oms&Ojas offer this cosy and nurturing winter workshop, where we use the practice of Yoga and Meditation to reset.

The Forum at Greenwich

<h2>Welcome to this cosy and nurturing winter workshop to practice Yoga and  Meditation to re-set and re-calibrate, use practices to support your vision for the future, and find strength and willpower to drive it forward.</h2><p>This is a 2 hour workshop in the centre of Greenwich, London, held in a wonderful quiet space, The Forum at Greenwich. </p><p>This workshop will offer you the practices to nurture and strengthen your body through yoga, and become aware of bodily sensations to further ground and quiet your mind from the busyness of the weekdays and festive season. We will use Yoga to access  your inner strength and allow you to support and nurture yourself throughout the rest of the winter season. Further, with the thoughtful and warm guidance of the teachers, you will practice a variety of meditations to find that deeper connection to your heart and mind to to nurture your self-love and self-compassion.</p><p>This experience is a great chance to offer yourself some quiet and relaxation time. </p><p>This workshop will add value to everyone, and can also be a great present for your loved ones. </p><h3>Experience and Details</h3><p>People with various levels of experience in yoga and meditation are welcome to join this workshop. Be physically prepared to do yoga movements on the mats and seated practices on the floor (yoga mats). </p><p>We may have limited amount of chairs available for meditation (please let us know in advance). </p><h3>Location</h3><p>The Forum at Greenwich is an inclusive and modern Community Centre, based in the historic location of Central Greenwich. This location offers absolute winter magic with amazing views over London. You can walk along the river or enjoy the cosy cafes of this beautiful village before and after our workshop. </p><p>Get here  - </p><p><strong>By train</strong></p><p>The Centre is a short walk from Maze Hill train station on the Greenwich line. The 129 and 188 buses also serve North Greenwich Tube Station (10 minutes away) and we are a 15 minute walk from Cutty Sark DLR station.</p><p><strong>By car</strong></p><p>There is limited parking on site and recommend public transport where possible. On street parking, £2 for a maximum of 2 hours on all side streets around Trafalgar Road. Or you can use Greenwich - Park Row Car Park (5mins from The Forum) click here for times and prices.. </p>

<h3>About the teachers</h3><p>Dilya M-A is the founder of the Mindful Globe project and the lead teacher. Di’s teaching started in the corporate setting in Central London, where she is established as a successful financial services professional. She founded a Mindfulness Community to share her experience, latest scientific results, guide meditations and offer talks on wellbeing. Participants provided positive feedback on simple, and sustainable solutions to support them through their challenges.</p><p>Di is trained to teach Mindfulness-based practices, Compassion-based practices, Loving Kindness Meditation, and various visualisation practices for greater wellbeing and personal growth. She accomplished a number of Mindfulness courses, including MindfulnessUK Teacher Training. </p>

<p>Jo is the founder of Oms&amp;Ojas, which was founded to share the ancient wisdom of Yoga and Ayurveda so that people can start to feel younger, healthier, and more in love with life! Jo teaches Yoga to the local community in South East London. Her weekly classes are run regularly and very well-attended by the local community in Greenwich and Deptford. </p><p>Jo  was trained in Iyengar Yoga, and has over 20 years of teaching experience. She  developed her own style of &#x27;Organic Yoga&#x27;, which is dictated by the energy and experience level of the group, as well as seasons and needs of the collective environement. </p>
