A special election is taking place in February 2023, and Brickell will have the opportunity to help elect the next Miami Commissioner

I﻿n February, Brickell residents will have the chance to elect Miami&#x27;s next Commissioner. Please be sure to share with your neighbors, as many people do not know the importance of this election. For those of who are not aware, most major decisions in Miami, including the city budget, need to be approved by our five commissioners. District 2 Commissioner stepped down at the end of 2022, and we have a special election as a result.O﻿rganized by the <a href="https://www.brickellhomeowners.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Brickell Homeowners Association</a> and the <a href="https://mobile.twitter.com/uc3miami" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Urban Core Community Coalition</a>.A﻿ll vote-by-mail registrations expired at the end of 2022, so please be sure to <a href="https://miamidade.electionsfl.org/vrservices/mbrs#" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">sign up to receive your ballot via mail</a>.
