**SOLAR SOUND JOURNEY EVENT - SPRING EQUINOX**Embrace the positive energy of springtime with a relaxing sound bath and guided meditation by the Solar Sound Sisters.Join Solar Sound’s Cinnamen Johnson and Lindsay Markovits for an immersive and deeply relaxing sound-bath, to help you transition seamlessly into the new season of Spring. As we emerge from introspective Wintertime, and begin the shift towards vibrant Summertime, we find ourselves in a potent place to consider and embrace new possibilities, new beginnings, new ways of being, as we move from darkness, towards light.Our sound bath will be bookended by meditation to support inner reflection and the setting of intentions for a new season.Layering the multi-tonal sounds of the gong, earthy drum-beats, the celestial tones of the crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls and other harmonising instruments, your hosts will take you on a journey, playing simultaneously at points, and sometimes over the body, so that the vibrations can be fully received and enjoyed.The positive effects of attending a sound-bath include relaxation, anxiety alleviation, improved sleep and increased clarity of mind. There’s no movement involved – this is an opportunity to carve out some space for yourself to rest and replenish on a Sunday afternoon in preparation for the week ahead.PLEASE READ:Bring own Yoga/Pilates mat, pillow, blankets, and water, THIS IS NOT PROVIDED. Dress comfortable and warm you will be laying down. Both have been hosting sound, energy and body workshops for many years.Cinnamen is an intuitive holistic practitioner and shamanic healer and Lindsay teaches Hatha and Kundalini yoga, all of which influence the guided meditations that frame the duo’s soundscapes.NB: Complementary Therapies: While these healing practices do not replace conventional medicine or psychotherapy, they are often used successfully as complementary treatments.
