Fowler in the City: Amir H. Fallah’s War on Wars at the Shulamit Nazarian

The Fowler Museum at UCLA explores global arts and cultures with an emphasis on Africa, Asia, the Pacific, and the Americas—past and present. The Fowler enhances understanding and appreciation of the diverse peoples, cultures, and religions of the world through dynamic exhibitions, publications, and public programs, informed by interdisciplinary approaches and the perspectives of the cultures represented. Also featured is the work of international contemporary artists presented within the complex frameworks of politics, culture and social action. The Fowler provides exciting, informative and thought-provoking exhibitions and events for the UCLA community and the people of greater Los Angeles and beyond.

Join us at Shulamit Nazarian gallery for a walk-through with artist Amir H. Fallah on his exhibition “Amir H. Fallah: War on Wars.”

Please join us at <a href="https://www.shulamitnazarian.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Shulamit Nazarian</a> gallery for a viewing of Amir H. Fallah: War on Wars”(February 18–March 25, 2023). The program will begin with a welcome and overview by gallery directors, and will be followed by the exhibition walk-through with the artist. Shulamit Nazarian gallery is located at 616 N La Brea Ave., Los Angeles, CA. Space is limited for this in person program; RSVP is required.Shulamit Nazarian gallery opened in 2012 with a focus on artists from the greater Middle East. In 2016, the gallery’s focus expanded to include emerging, mid-career, and established artists whose interests challenge and illuminate current social and political issues through a lens of personal narrative. The gallery is dedicated to supporting artists’ growth and development by amplifying and concretizing their practice, adding their work to public and private collections, representing them at biennials, and publishing their works in monographs. As its programming continues to evolve, the gallery hopes to foster deeper relationships and collaborations with its artists at all levels, and expand representation to reflect the rich and dynamic arts community of its hometown of Los Angeles and beyond.
