Children will assemble Snack Bags and decorate cheer cards for the families served by the New Albany Food Pantry.

Who this Anywhere Project is for:Ages 2-12. Not sure if this project is the right fit for your kids? Email us with questions at programs@seedsofcaring.org.What you&#x27;ll be doing:Children will learn about hunger in our community and explore the important message that we all need help sometimes, and we can all give help sometimes through a read aloud and age-appropriate discussion. Helping hands will then assemble Snack Bags and decorate cheer cards that will be included in spring break meal boxes distributed to families who utilize services at the <a href="https://www.newalbanyfoodpantry.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">New Albany Food Pantry</a><a href="http://www.columbusearlylearning.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">.</a>When you&#x27;ll be doing it:This Anywhere Project can be done at home, school, or wherever you are!This project is on-going. Families and groups may participate anytime until the project ends on March 12th. Donations may be porch-dropped from 9am - 7pm March 10th-12th at a Seeds of Caring volunteer&#x27;s home in Worthington, Westerville, or Grove City. Full addresses will be provided in your service packet.How it all works:Once you have completed registration, you will receive a confirmation email from Eventbrite with a link to your service packet. This packet includes project instructions, guided discussions and more. If for some reason you cannot access this file, please email programs@seedsofcaring.org for assistance.The meaning-making:Engaging children’s hearts and minds before getting their hands active with service is a vital step in raising caring, compassionate humans. In every Seeds of Caring service packet, you&#x27;ll find quick, easy-to-use guides to support you in leading meaning-making conversations! This project&#x27;s guided discussion focuses on hunger and service.Approximate Cost: $15 for 10 bags each containing a salty, sweet, and healthy snack (full packing list is included in the packet). For the cheer card, use craft supplies on hand or the printable template provided in the service packet.Why you&#x27;ll be invited to donate:Every time we&#x27;re able to design, coordinate, and offer an opportunity for kids to give back, it&#x27;s with the help of supporters like you.
