The Fowler Museum at UCLA explores global arts and cultures with an emphasis on Africa, Asia, the Pacific, and the Americas—past and present. The Fowler enhances understanding and appreciation of the diverse peoples, cultures, and religions of the world through dynamic exhibitions, publications, and public programs, informed by interdisciplinary approaches and the perspectives of the cultures represented. Also featured is the work of international contemporary artists presented within the complex frameworks of politics, culture and social action. The Fowler provides exciting, informative and thought-provoking exhibitions and events for the UCLA community and the people of greater Los Angeles and beyond.

Fowler Out Loud is an evening concert series that invites UCLA students from various disciplines to perform at the museum.

Ethnomusicology student Dakota Dry is an award-winning songwriter and singer from the Bay Area. She studied vocal music for four years at Oakland School for the Arts and has sung alongside legendary performers and artists, including Wilson Heredia, Dave Grohl, and Daveed Diggs. Dry combines raw and intimate lyricism with powerful vocals influenced by various genres, from 60s/70s Laurel Canyon folk, to pop and R&amp;B. At the Fowler, she will be performing alongside a band of talented friends.Fowler Out Loud: Fowler Out Loud is an evening concert series that invites UCLA students from various disciplines to perform at the museum. Support for Fowler Out Loud comes from the UCLA Office of Residential Life. All performances begin at 6 pm.
