Outdoorswoman, Pam Wright has spent the past 15 years exploreing sections of the Superior Hiking Trail (SHT) in northern Minnesota. She recently thru-hiked all 310 miles and is exicited to share what she learned over 21 days on the trail. You'll receive tips, tricks and inspiration for having your own awesome adventure. This class is open to everyone! In this class you'll learn...<ul><li>How to train and prepare for a section or thru-hike. </li><li>Tips for a lighter backpack. </li><li>Northbound (NOBO) or Southbound (SOBO)...which direction is best for you. </li><li>Where to camp in the Duluth section. </li><li>Food! What to eat to keep you and your body happy. </li><li>Safety on trail.</li><li>Leaving the family at home; stay connected while staying focused. </li><li>Best times of the year to explore the trail. </li><li>How to navigate shuttles, resupplies and trail angels. </li><li>A suggested packing list for fall hiking. </li><li>Should you go solo or go with a buddy? </li><li>How to prepare for the unexpected (weather, trail detours, foot issues, etc).</li></ul>And more!
