The Feast of St. Valentine  - Vampire themed Murder Mystery Party

Home built in 1874 maintained well and with a vintage appeal. Great for hosting time period pieces, having a classy party, or wanting to take use of the .5 acres in downtown Cedar Falls. The Cicada House has it all. Our property also features a professional photo studio, hot tub, and a large indoor hosting space for unforeseen weather events.

Celebrate the season of love with a night of bloodsucking mystery and juicy cocktails at the Cicada House. We are hosting a Murder Mystery Dinner Party for couples, friends, and singles! A Murder Mystery Dinner Party is a themed event where guests are given the opportunity to solve a murder mystery during an evening of small bites and cocktails. This experience invites you to improv, role play, and bring your best vampire energy all in the light of fun. The guest with the best costume will be awarded a prize at the conclusion of the gameplay. Limited tickets are available; $25 a piece or two of $45. Your ticket will include admission and gameplay. The gameplay experience runs approx. 3 hours. Guests will receive gameplay details and questionnaire by email after the purchase of tickets.
