Are refunds available for this event due to weather?

Accepted Answer

No refunds for rain or adverse weather.  The show will go on Rain or Shine with delays in performance for lighting.

Lost or Stolen tickets

Accepted Answer

Lost or stolen tickets will not be reissued.

Question 3

Can we bring our own alcohol?

Accepted Answer

No.  Alcohol cannot be brought into the event area and can only be purchased from designated areas and consumed within the event area.

Will guest need to be searched prior to entering?

Accepted Answer

All attendees will be searched upon entering the festival grounds. Management reserves the sole right to determine safety hazards. If prohibited or offensive items are found, guests may return them to their vehicle or surrender to Security without return. If drugs are found, they will not be returne

What items are prohibited?

Accepted Answer

Prohibited items: Tents, instruments,  knives or other weapons, selfie sticks, food, beverages (Other than permitted), drugs or pets (service animals allowed), large purses, camera bags, cinch bags, drones, glass,  laser pens and fireworks.

What items are permitted in venue

Accepted Answer

Bags made of clear plastic, clear vinyl or clear PVC, which do not exceed 13”x17” in size (this includes clear backpacks under 13”x17”), one gallon clear zip top bag, small clutch bags (approximately the size of  a hand either with or without a handle/strap)  see website for complete list of items.

What is smoking policy?

No smoking in any of the building on campus.  Designated smoking area are provided.

Question 8

Are firearms permitted in event area?

Accepted Answer

The Policy is designed for the protection of our guests, vendors, staff, and owners, and pertains to the presence of firearms and weapons on campus premises.  Hocking College and the Starbrick Music Festival recognize that only law enforcement may legally possess firearms.

When does music start on Friday? Saturday?

Accepted Answer

Music begins on Friday at 2 pm. Music begins on Saturday at 2 pm.

Question 10

Do children get into the festival for free?

Accepted Answer

Children 8 and under will be permitted to enter the festival for free.

Question 11

Can I check-in early?

Accepted Answer

Camping and dorm check-in begins Thursday night, July 27th and will continue through Friday and Saturday. Check out is Sunday July 30th by noon.
