13th Annual Women In Technology Awards Ceremony & Reception

<p>Recognizing women who have contributed significantly to advancing their industry technologically -- or who show great promise of doing so -- the Women in Technology  Awards support the National Association of Broadcasters Leadership Foundation's <a href="https://www.nabfoundation.org/programs/technology-apprenticeship/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Technology Apprentice Program</a>, which trains, informs and recruits a diverse workforce that meets the emerging technology and engineering needs of the broadcasting community.</p>

<h2>W﻿omen In Technology Leadership Honoree</h2><h3>A﻿nne Schelle, Managing Director, Pearl TV</h3><p>Anne Schelle is Managing Director of Pearl TV, a business alliance of 8 of the larger broadcast TV companies with a shared interest in exploring forward-looking opportunities, including innovative ways of promoting local TV content and developing digital media and wireless platforms for the broadcast industry. Pearl TV companies reach 99% of the U.S. population with more than 820 local TV stations.</p><p>Anne has more than two decades of wireless and media industry experience. Schelle was founder and President of APS Connext LLC, providing senior-level advisory services to some of the nation’s largest public media companies focused on the future of digital media.</p><p>An innovator who is experienced in advising established companies and startups, Schelle served previously as senior advisor to the NAB and as Executive Director of the Open Mobile Video Coalition, where she led outreach efforts by broadcasters to introduce Mobile TV services.</p><p>Anne was a founding management team member for several companies, including the nation’s first commercial digital cellular network American Personal Communications, dba Sprint Spectrum and also xDSL Networks, a competitive local exchange carrier.</p><p>She also served as manager of business development at LCC Inc., a cellular engineering consulting firm, and was a financial analyst for McCaw Cellular Communications, MCI/Airsignal. She is also a past venture partner and CEO of Acta Wireless. Anne currently serves as board chair of the ATSC 3.0 Security Alliance (A3SA), as well as a board member of WYPR, Maryland’s Public Radio Station, and the Wise Giving Alliance, Give.org. She formerly served on the Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC) Board, as Vice Chairman of the Mobile Marketing Association’s North American Board and founding chair of its video committee and as a founding member of the advisory board of the Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering for Professionals.</p>

<h2>T﻿echnology Women to Watch Honoree</h2><h3>H﻿annah Barnhardt, COO &amp; Co-Founder, TMT Insights Group </h3><p>Hannah Barnhardt is an experienced leader of establishing global strategic relationships and driving complex product initiatives, alongside setting, and executing companies brand and marketing strategies.</p><p>Curious by nature, Hannah thrives in a collaborative environment and accelerates organizations abilities to embrace new technologies by unifying technology, product, sales &amp; business development teams to maximize efficiencies and streamline their go-to market solutions.</p><p></p>

<h2>T﻿echnology Women to Watch Honoree</h2><h3>E﻿mily Stone, VP, Digital Content Strategy and Operations, Fox Television Stations</h3><p>Emily Stone oversees digital content strategy and operations for FOX TV Stations, and leads LiveNOW from FOX-- the O&amp;O group's national live streaming news service.</p><p>Stone works closely with digital leaders and teams at FTS stations across the country to refine their local digital publishing strategies and workflows. The group's national content team, which produces original digital content for all markets, is also under her purview. </p><p>For LiveNOW from FOX, Stone leads all aspects of strategy and operations, with teams in Orlando and Phoenix who produce 110+ hours of live news coverage each week, with limited commentary and no opinion.</p><p> Stone has been with FOX since the early 2000s, when she started her career as a sports intern at WTVT in Tampa. She went on to lead the digital teams at WAGA in Atlanta and WTTG in Washington, D.C. before transitioning to FTS' corporate digital leadership team in 2018. She earned her Bachelors’ degrees in communications and political science from the University of South Florida.</p>

<h2>Technology Women to Watch Honoree</h2><h3>N﻿adia Khan, CMO, LTN</h3><p>Nadia is head of corporate communications and marketing for LTN. She is responsible for brand management, demand generation, events, and PR. Nadia also works closely with product marketing and product management to execute product launches. Nadia has an MBA from Emory University and a BA in business management from Gettysburg College.</p>

<h2>T﻿echnology Futurist Honoree</h2><h3>C﻿hrys Le Gall, Lead Cloud Solutions Architect, Ateme</h3><p>C﻿hrys is a customer-obsessed cloud architect with over 15 years' experience in the video industry. As Lead Cloud Solutions Architect at Ateme, she leads the path for Ateme's customers' cloud adoption. Prior to joining Ateme, Chrys held positions as solution engineer in the video CDN industry, as well as IPTV and OTT solution architect in a French Telco.</p>

<h2>T﻿echnology Futurist Honoree</h2><h3>S﻿uzana Brady,  SVP, Worldwide Sales and Marketing, Cobalt Digital</h3><p>Suzana Brady  was named Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing for Cobalt Digital Inc. in 2021, promoted from her position as Vice President of Sales in the Americas.  Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, Suzana works closely with the executive team to define geographical and technical areas of growth and implement sales, marketing and operational strategies. Suzana’s career has spanned over two decades and includes work in data networking, wireless, broadband and broadcast technology spaces. Prior to Cobalt she held technical sales and marketing management positions at ImmediaTV, IDC, Logic Innovations, SkyStream Networks and 3Com Corp. Suzana also serves as Chairman for the RIST Forum (Reliable Internet Streaming Transport).</p><p></p>
