We see startups with great ideas fail at an alarming rate, and, unsurprisingly, the first several years of a startup are almost entirely about survival. In this timeframe, it’s easy for things like trust and team dynamics to fall into the bucket of “future problems,” but letting that happen takes one of the most powerful tools for success off the table. Trust is a huge part of an investor’s decision to bet on you, a team member’s decision to come on board, and even your friend&#x27;s and family’s decision to support you on this journey. In this session, we are going to spend some time talking about how to proactively build trust and deepen your understanding of both yourself and the people around you. You will walk away with a framework to understand better people as well as trustbuilding behaviors that can be leveraged to build a foundation for your company and help you defy the odds. <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/robyn-fuentes/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Robyn Fuentes</a> is a VP of Consulting at Improving and specializes in helping companies leverage technology to enable greater business success. With a passion for creating environments of trust, Robyn can leverage her expertise in software and breadth of experience working in widely different industries to lead teams, coach executives, and create solutions in ways that amplify both business and technology towards mutual gain. Outside the office, her passions include sports, music, motorcycles, and traveling the world.
