This class will provide students with information on investigative factors to consider when reopening “cold” sexual assault investigations.

This class will provide students with information on investigative factors to consider when reopening “cold” sexual assault investigations. The course will cover investigative background work, including investigative planning and skills. Additionally, the course will include a interactive component that allows officers to (a) review and plan for their own cold case investigation, and (b) practice trauma informed notifications and interviewing with trained actors.P﻿RIOR TO CLASS: https://academy.sakitta.org/Register for a SAKI TTA Virtual Academy account and complete the following two online courses: Working the Case I &amp; Working the Case II. Please provide course completion certificates on the first day of training. These online courses must be completed before the training!!
