<h1>Free Discovery Class — Come Join the Light!</h1><p>Enter an international world of fun, fitness, and community created around an iconic and elegant weapon. LudoSport is a complete sporting combat system, built from the ground up for lightsaber and practiced in countries around the world. It’s a fun way for kids (8+) and adults of all genders to get some exercise and learn a really cool new skill.</p>

<h2>What is LudoSport?</h2><p>In the Star Wars™ saga, the Seven combat Styles each have different characteristics, from which it is relatively simple for an expert to extract some movements which represent that particular combat style.</p><p>LudoSport went beyond this point, formalising a full, complete technical system (theoretical and practical) for each Style, creating a true “common language” that allows anyone entering this sport to perform real combat.</p><p>In addition, Light Saber Combat does not derive from any other combat art in any way. This is because the various sports that inspired Light Saber Combat have not been used to supply single movements or techniques, but solely aspects that could be adapted to the instrument that this sport uses.</p><h2>What is a Discovery Class?</h2><p>This is your chance to get your hands on a lightsaber and try the sport out for yourself! A Discovery Class is a 2-hour lesson where you will learn the basics of LudoSport and some of the first moves of Form 1. By the end of the lesson, you will know enough to spar safely and effectively with your instructor (that&#x27;s me!) in a real duel.</p><h2>What should I bring?</h2><p>Wear comfortable clothes that you can move around in freely, and flat closed-toed shoes. Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. An athletic cup is recommended for people with external genitalia (it is required for regular lessons, but optional for the Discovery Class). </p><p>But most of all, bring yourself and a willingness to have fun!</p><h2>Do I have to be super fit to do LudoSport?</h2><p>Not at all! As long as you have basic mobility, we can work with you in any shape. In fact, LudoSport is a great way to get some exercise while having fun! Students span various ages, genders, and fitness levels.
