The Soul of Philanthropy is a comprehensive, multimedia exhibit that reframes portraits of philanthropy. It will also include a robust offering of talks, panel discussions, and public forums designed to explore a broad range of topics.

The Soul of Philanthropy is a comprehensive, multimedia exhibit that reframes portraits of philanthropy. Comprising highly-innovative presentations of over a dozen vignette stories and more than 50 black-and-white images, the exhibition captures philanthropic musings across generations. Join us for live performances, music by DJ Selah Say, hors d&#x27;oeuvres, and a special viewing of the exhibit as we honor individuals who are making a difference in Chicago through their giving of time, talent and treasure. Join Chicago icons and legends Derrick Rose, New York Knicks; John H. Johnson, Johnson Publishing Company; Deborah Harrington, former President of the Woods Fund Chicago; and Wilbur Milhouse, Milhouse Engineering &amp; Construction who visitors will see in the exhibition alongside community honorees:<ul><li>Dion Dawson, Dion’s Chicago Dream, Emerging Philanthropist</li><li>Janell Nelson, JNJ Creative, Hidden Philanthropist</li><li>Leslie J. Anderson-Rutland, BMO Financial Group, Legacy Philanthropist</li><li>Essence Smith, ELMS Productions, Young Adult Philanthropist</li><li>Jahkil Jackson, Project I Am, Youth Philanthropist</li></ul>Registration opens at 5:30pm, the program begins promptly at 6pm, followed by a viewing of the exhibit. Tickets will be on sale until February 19th, tickets must be purchased in advance.
