Private Tasting with Davidoff Cigars and The Dalmore Single Malt Scotch

Fine Tobacco Club was founded in 2009 in New York City as “Fine Tobacco NYC.” It began with a simple goal: to bring together cigar smokers to appreciate the art and craft of fine tobacco together. What started as a few friends learning about cigars together has become perhaps the largest regularly meeting cigar group in the world. Each month, we bring together anyone who loves cigars, libations, and good conversation for cigar and spirits pairings, live jazz events, summer rooftop events, new product releases and more. After more than 200 gatherings over 10 years, Fine Tobacco Club now seeks to bring new experiences, friendships, and products to fine tobacco lovers everywhere.

Dalmore might just be the most legendary distillery in the world, when it comes to creating stunning whisky with real provenance. Throughout his 50 years at The Dalmore, Master Distiller Richard Paterson has been on a mission to push the boundaries of what is possible in whisky production and the art of cask curation. His unparalleled expertise and intimate knowledge of rare and precious casks have produced truly iconic, ground-breaking expressions from The Dalmore, that set the standard in Single Malt Whisky.

The Dalmore 15 Year: The Dalmore 15 year old was first launched in 2007. Matured in Matusalem, Apostoles and Amoroso Sherry casks, it proffers all those winter spice, orange zest and chocolate notes characteristic of Dalmore.

The Dalmore Port Wood Reserve: The fruit of Dalmore's experiments with casks from around the world, this port wood reserve marries Dalmore's weighty whisky with thick port-cask fruit and spice. Matured first in American white oak bourbon casks, it is then finished in port pipes from W&J Graham before being bottled at a punch 46.5%.

The Dalmore 18 Year: Dalmore's stunning 18 year old Highland malt is as rich, fruity and spicy as you could ever want from a Dalmore. It is aged for 14 years in American oak, followed by three years in Matusalem sherry butts, before a final year in sherry butts.

The Dalmore Cigar Malt Reserve: Dalmore Cigar Malt was discontinued in mid-2009, causing uproar among all right-thinking, cigar-smoking whisky fans. It is back now with a re-worked blend consisting of older whiskies than the original.
