Yes, this is only the first of hopefully many OSSci events. We are a global initiative and are looking forward to connecting with you! We are actively exploring in-person, virtual, and hybrid events to cover a broad range of countries, regions, and time zones. Please stay tuned!

What is your COVID policy?

As of February 1, 2023 there are currently no restrictions in place in Santa Cruz County or at UC Santa Cruz regarding in-person events. Accordingly, masking at this event will be optional. We encourage everyone to follow the usual safety protocols (e.g., do not attend if you’re feeling sick).
