Online Improv Course: Hot Under the Collar

Rhiannon is an improviser, actor, teacher, facilitator, and director working across London and Europe. She performs regularly with They Don't Know the Half of It, The Ol' Bill, and Eggplant improv and is currently performing in Dr Boo’s Creepy Neighborhood at the Hideout Theatre. She recently directed The Love Circle at The Hideout Theatre, which was nominated for the Ethel Hinkley Award for Outstanding New Troupe. Rhiannon was an original cast member of Acaprov: the improvised A Capella Musical, and previously played with Improbotics, Happy in Their Own Way, and other Nursery Originals productions.Rhiannon trained in Musical Theatre at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, and in improv with Hoopla, The Free Association, and the Nursery. Incorporate flirting, intimacy, & sexuality into your improv scenes. Spend a whole year working with the same people to build trust.

This class will teach you how to discover your hot and sexy self on stage. With a focus on fun, consent, and building confidence, students will practice flirting, creating intimate scenes, and finding your unique brand of hotness.Syllabus includes:- boundaries and consent, and how to communicate these with teammates- posture and breath work to help you get into your body, and improve your confidence- scenic exercises to help you explore sexuality and sexual content in improv- scenework, with coachingThis class is for anyone who would like to bring flirting and sexuality into their scenes.You will work with the same group for the entire year, to give you the chance to really get comfortable and dig into being intimate as a steady group. Bursary places are available - please reflect on your privilege and book if you need to (no need to email!). Payment plans are also available - see ticketing for more details. This course is fully accessible for audio-only participants, and closed captioning is available.Min. participants 4, max. participants 12. This experienced (12 months +) course runs monthly for 1 year, on the Second Tuesday of every month, 2.30 - 4.30pm New York Time (final session 9th January 2024).
