Many firms and companies have programs promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA). However, how do you move beyond just having a Diversity Committee or a Diversity Manager for your company or firm? How can you yourself as an attorney, supervisor, or leader move the needle? What can we learn from related efforts to increase diversity in the legal community generally? What economic benefits, including impact to a corporation’s bottom line, can be achieved through diversity?Come join United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) personnel and intellectual property (IP) professionals in person at the University of Minnesota Law School or online for a discussion about how to promote a culture of DEIA in your workplace and in inventorship.
