Law Day is a day celebrated across the country on May 1st, 2024. This year's national Law Day theme is "Voices of Democracy". On April 27th, 2024, we at Miles Law School invite you to come celebrate Law Day with us at the Kress Ballroom, 301 19th St N, Birmingham, AL 35203. Unique to Miles, 2024 is the 50th year since our doors first opened in August of 1974. We will be celebrating the great legal minds that have emerged from Miles and the impact made on the legal profesison in Alabama and beyond. Miles College President Bobbie Knight will be the guest speaker for the event. The attire for the event is cocktail.
With 50 years behind us and 50 more forward, this event will also help raise funds to support the students and the overall goal of Miles Law School to continue balancing the scales and breaking barriers in the legal profession, while we enjoy fellowship, food, and good music.
