In June, SMART Family Literacy will distribute children's books and Band-Aids in partnership with Save the Children. This distribution is FREE while supplies last. Your request for these free materials must be made using the following link by June 7, 2024 at 5:00pm. This distribution is limited to Galveston County. The $5 Follow-up is a special training that will allow teachers and directors to explore ways to use the titles that we have distributed to build resilience with their school, families, and children in preparation for the 2024 Atlantic Hurricane Season which starts on June 1st. If you request free materials and we are not able to fulfill this request, you are still invited to attend the $5 training event via Zoom.
