Team Check-In Begins

All coaches must check in at the head table prior to their first game.

9:00 AM - 1:30 PM

Group Play Kicks Off

Teams will play three games within their respective age division & group. Group Play games begin at 9:00 AM. Teams can expect to play every 1-1.5 hours.

2:00 PM - 3:30 PM

Championship Rounds

Following Group Play, the top four teams in each division will enter a Championship Bracket that will start around 2:00 PM.

Welcome to the 4v4 Loudoun Legends Shootout happening on Sat, August 24, 2024, at Segra Field, home of Loudoun County's pro soccer team, Loudoun United FC! This is a fun 4v4 youth soccer tournament serving programs in Northern Virginia & surrounding areas.

All U10 & U12-eligible rosters are welcome to compete in our fun, competitive, and family-friendly environment. All teams are guaranteed to play at least three 20-minute games and have the chance to compete for championship medals! Ready for the exciting part?

Every player receives a FREE ticket to see Loudoun United FC face Rhode Island FC at Segra Field on the same day. The USL Championship match kicks off at 7:15 PM on 8/24. We have a discount ticket link for families & friends to use to attend the game.

4v4 (NO GOALIES, 4 Field Players) is the perfect environment to test skills and build team chemistry heading into the Fall 2024 season. The smaller field (45 yards long by 25 yards wide) enables fast-paced, high-scoring play, and maximizes touches on the ball. Four fields with Pugg goals will be running at once, enabling you to enjoy an action-packed day at the 4v4 Loudoun Legends Shootout!

Segra Field is Loudoun United FC's state-of-the-art soccer-specific stadium. The 5,000-seat stadium features concession stands, an event apparel stand, and plenty of parking & space surrounding the field for teams to set up, hang out, and enjoy themselves all day!

Frequently asked questions

What are the age cutoffs for each division?

U10-eligible players are players born in 2015 or more recently, and U12-eligible players are players born in 2013 or more recently, in line with the 2024-25 VYSA age guidelines.

What are the roster size limits?

Rosters can have anywhere from 3 to 9 players.

Is this tournament open to both boys and girls teams?

Absolutely! We intend to have separate divisions for boys & girls at each age division, but it depends on how many teams register in each division. We will match alike competition together in Group Play to our best abilities.

What rules are special for this tournament?

Official rules will be posted on our site and shared with coaches. Notably, a 3-yard arc is added to prevent goaltending. There are no offsides or throw-ins. All balls played from the sidelines must be kicked in and are eligible to score directly. Penalty kicks are open net kicks from midfield.

How and when will I receive my player's free ticket and the discount ticket link for others?

We will distribute your player's free ticket and discount ticket link closer to the event's date. The email you use to register your player is what we'll send the ticket information to! Contact us at info@unitedgoalsusa.com for special arrangements regarding tickets.

Where can I park and is it free?

Segra Field has plenty of free parking in the lots next to the stadium.
