4TH TRIMESTER MOMMY AND ME WORKSHOP

*DATES: Saturday March 16th, March 30th, April 13th, April 27th

*TIMES: 10:00am-11:30am

**PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A 4 SESSION WORKSHOP (YOU WILL ATTEND ALL 4 ABOVE DATES)

Price $125 for you and your baby including: 4 - hour and a half group sessions with Missy and Maria with all material provided

This Workshop was created by a Orthopedic Physical Therapist and a Pediatric Occupational Therapist focusing on 4th trimester care for mom, essential baby development and creating the best bond as a new mother. Our hope is to give new moms the tools they need in the first 6 months to feel confident in their postpartum journey physically as well as mentally and emotionally to create the best total postpartum bond with your baby!

In this 4 session course, you will learn the essentials of postpartum health and common 4th trimester issues (pelvic pain, incontinence, diastasis recti, prolapse) as well as integrating essential activities baby needs to engage in appropriate play, social interaction, and to promote development.

This group is meant to empower new moms and bridge the gap in 4th trimester care for both mom and baby. Being a new mom can be confusing and overwhelming because there is SO much misinformation out there.

Come spend time with a Licensed PT and OT that have research based and clinical based knowledge to help you survive motherhood and feel competent AND confident!

Dr. Missy Gallow is an orthopedic physical therapist with a focus on prenatal and postpartum health. She has been practicing for 7 years after graduating from the Univeristy of Dayton and currently works at Active Physical Therapy. After having twins herself and dealing with a number of pregnancy and postpartum pelvic concerns she decided to focus her continuing education on providing women the tools they need to regain a connection with their body and prevent injuries as they return to fitness or as they navigate day to day tasks throughout motherhood.

Dr. Maria Baldino is a pediatric occupational therapist who has experience working in hospital based pediatrics, outpatient private practice, and early intervention. She recently completed a pediatric fellowship at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and her post professional doctorate in occupational therapy. After continuing to see a desire to learn and know more about their child’s development and ways to support it in her friends who are new parents, or families that she works with, she has committed herself to developing ways to increase the competence and confidence of parents to ultimately empower them. Maria currently teaches occupational therapy students at The Ohio State University and practices at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

You will receive:

1. PDF ultimate guide to 4th Trimester Care

2. Infant massage booklet

3. Continued support and guidance from each Therapist via email and private facebook group

4. Access to Pediatric Nutrition Course for $5 by Melanie Potock, MA, CCC-SLP, pediatric feeding expert and author. This course is co-taught by a registered dietitian and containers two hours of online instruction.
