This family-friendly event is free and open to all, and includes a delicious BBQ lunch, engaging readings of children’s books about Juneteenth, face painting, a DJ bubble party by DJ Jaé and other exciting activities.
Bring the whole family and enjoy a fun-filled day of learning and celebration, made possible by our generous sponsors. Children of all ages will love the lively readings of Juneteenth stories, while parents and caregivers can enjoy browsing additional Black Owned food and dessert vendors on-site. Plus, don't miss out on our free book raffle!
Juneteenth is an important holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the United States, and we're excited to honor this historic day with a joyful and educational event. We're grateful to our sponsors, the Florida Theatrical Association and the Orlando Family Stage, for their support in making this event possible. We look forward to seeing you there!
This event is free for Central Florida Families, but advance registration is required to ensure that we provide enough food. Dietary restrictions will be honored if possible but we require written requests in advance.
