Welcome to the 4th Annual Jordan Hess Memorial Auction and Cornhole Tournament! Join us for a day of fun and friendly competition at Vanderbeck Valley Farms. Test your skills in our exciting cornhole tournament or bid on fantastic items in our auction. All proceeds go towards a great cause in memory of Jordan Hess. Don't miss out on this special event!

This FUNdraising event allows us to continue Jordan’s dream through her non-profit by offering grants and scholarships to the community with the intent of supporting children and young adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities for inclusiveness in education and community. Bring the whole family for a day of fun, music, and friendly competition.

The auction and other fun events will be occurring during the tournament

  • Registration is $80 per team (2 players) includes a meal and drink ticket for each player
  • Spectators Welcome and Encouraged $25/ticket (meal/drink included) participate in the auction, activities, music, and more 5-12 yrs - $10, under 5 - free
  • Teams need to be registered by Sunday, July 21st or when all team slots filled.
  • Top 3 Teams in each bracket win cash and trophy
  • All skill levels are welcome.
  • Check in / practice opens at 12 pm - Bags fly at1pm!
  • No personal Cornhole bags. All bags will be provided.
  • Play is Rain or Shine. If Rain, there is a covered area to play.
  • Player registration includes: 6 guaranteed games, meal and drink tickets for 2
  • 4 game Round Robin will be followed by 2 Double Elimination brackets. The brackets are seeded based on teams W-L record and point differential from the Round Robin
  • Cash Bar available with local wine, beer and cider
  • This is a child friendly event

Frequently asked questions

Can I come to just watch?

Yes spectators are welcome to attend. You can participate in the auctions by signing up, enjoy the games, and music. Spectator fee is $25 which includes a meal and drink ticket.

How many people need to be on a corhole team?

Each team consists of 2 people

Is this just for professionals?

Everyone is welcome to participate, however please keep in mind this event is a fundraiser. If you consider yourself a professional, we kindly ask that you choose an amateur partner to keep things fun and fair for all participants. The Round Robin helps make seeding even.

Are there prizes for the winners?

Yes cash prizes and trophies and swag bags will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

Will I get to take my auction item home with me?

We would appreciate each person taking their items home with them that night and close out their accounts.

What else is happening during the event?

There will be music, fun area for kids to play, socializing, and so much more. Have fun at the live auction and the excitement of a 50/50 auction.

Is there going to be alcohol served?

There will be a cash bar where you purchase tickets. Local wine, beer, and cider are available. All OLCC standards are followed. No outside alcohol is allowed on the premises.

Will the event be rescheduled due to weather?

We play rain or shine as we have the ability to equip both of these conditions.

Can I register the day of the event?

All teams must pre-register by July 21st when sign ups close or capacity is reached. We will not accept any sign ups after this date, nor will we be accepting sign ups at the event. You are welcome to come and watch purchasing a spectator ticket.

Can I bring my own boards and bags?

All players must use the boards and bags provided at the tournament. Although we thank you for your generous offer, boards and bags will not be needed and will be provided.

Is the registration fee refundable?

Unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund once your team has been registered. However, we can substitute out players if someone on your team can no longer make it. Just notify our team of any changes prior to the event day. As a non-profit fundraiser, purchase will be considered a donation. No refunds

Do I need to print my ticket to enter?

No. But you will need to check in at registration at the event entry to receive your packet of meal and drink tickets, auction bidder number and additional event information.

Will there be seating?

Yes, there are tables and chairs but we encourage you to bring your own blanket or lawn chairs to enjoy the afternoon and the ability to move from tournament court to court.
