Join ACMP members and staff for an information session on the variety of ways to hold a Play-In!

Join <a href="https://acmp.net/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">ACMP</a> (Associated Chamber Music Players) for an information session on the variety of ways to host and participate in a chamber music Play-In. A &quot;Play-In&quot; is defined as an event where musicians meet, often for the first time, and read chamber music for pure pleasure. Organizers can structure Play-ins in many creative ways, in groups small and large and in many different settings. Play-ins are not performances, but some include non-playing listeners. Although professional chamber musicians may be involved as organizers or playing along, Play-Ins are not workshops and do not involve coaching.ACMP Executive Director Stephanie Griffin and Officers Peter Aupperle and Susan Alexander will moderate a discussion on how best to organize a Play-In with experienced Play-In organizers from ACMP&#x27;s International Ambassadors Council (IAC) and North American Outreach Council (NAOC.) Topics will include the ins and outs of looking for locations, finding players, arranging groups, choosing repertoire, and more.
