Action Youth Media provides free after-school and summer media content classes for teenagers in downtown Silver Spring, MD. Established in 2008, these classes are centered around amplifying the voices of youth. In addition to our classes, we organize various arts outreach events that showcase the talents of our gifted students.

Action Youth Media: Workshops and Events

FREE after-school and summer media content classes for teenagers. Located in Silver Spring, our classes offer professional training in content creation. Yearly arts outreach events also showcase the talents of youth in the community.

Paint and other supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring an extra roller!!! Dress appropriately for messy painting on walls! We will be painting two smaller walls white and painting art on another wall. We will also be decorating the studio. Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
