Join us at the Center for the Education of Women+ to share refreshments, fond memories, and stories. Together we will remember and reflect on the successes that have shaped Doreen’s career, 27+ years of which have been at CEW+!Whether you’ve come to know Doreen and CEW+ through employment at the Center, partnerships, scholarships and the CEW+ Scholar community, social work internships, mindful meditation practice, the CEW+ Inspire Awards, or counseling and the CEW+ emergency fund, all are welcome to join CEW+ for this open-house style event.<blockquote>Thursday, January 26 @ CEW+ </blockquote><blockquote>330 E. Liberty St.</blockquote><blockquote>4:00 - 6:00 pm</blockquote><blockquote>Remarks &amp; Toast at 4:30 pm</blockquote><blockquote>Come and go as your schedule allows.</blockquote><blockquote></blockquote>As part of the afternoon’s celebration, we invite you to consider bringing a single flower* of your choosing to place in a communal vase. Each flower, unique and temporary – a gift of nature in the dead of winter in Michigan - will add a touch of color and serve as a symbol of the beauty made possible when we work together across differences.<blockquote>*Yes, only one flower- large or small! If you buy a bouquet, select one bloom to bring and keep the rest for yourself or share it with someone else.
