Or maybe your office never invested in these efforts at all, and you feel like you are on your own demanding change without any institutional buy-in. This is a common story—many organizations have scaled back their equity efforts while others never got beyond public statements or the occasional DEI committee meeting. What does lasting change look like and how do organizations make real progress toward racial equity? Join us for this self-guided online workshop series to explore how to embed equity into your organization and commit to the hard work of antiracism. We’ll share how to have meaningful conversations about race at work and discuss concrete steps for taking action (even when you don’t have the support of everyone in your office).The is is a four-week workshop series that includes:Online lessons. Watch videos with course content whenever it fits into your schedule. Coursework. Go deeper with resources, tools, and exercises to try on your own or with colleagues.Dialogue. Connect with other participants, find support, ask questions, and reflect in online discussions held in March. What You’ll Learn<ul><li>Shared language for examining race, racism, and equity.</li><li>Tools for fostering dialogue about racial equity at work.</li><li>Concrete recommendations and next steps for operationalizing equity. </li><li>Strategies for working in solidarity to uproot racism within organizations.</li><li>How to navigate barriers and pushback to equity and change efforts.</li></ul>How It WorksOnce registration closes, you’ll receive a password-protected link to access online lesson videos and download coursework materials. You’ll receive a Zoom link before the online discussion. We suggest participants set aside at least 4 - 6 hours over the duration of the workshop to complete the online videos, coursework, and Zoom.Who Should AttendThis workshop series is intended for workers and members of organizations (staff, management, leadership, board) who want to confront race and racism in the workplace. Individuals as well as groups are welcome to attend. We encourage you to sign up with colleagues from your networks, workplace, or organization.RegistrationWe are committed to making our workshops available to as many people as possible. To ensure we reach participants across income levels, we offer multiple registration tiers. All participants will have access to the full workshop series, regardless of what registration tier you’re able to pay.
