A design festival for people who use type. June 12–22 at The Cooper Union in Manhattan, NYC and online.

<p>This 2-day series of talks is the central event of the <a href="https://2023.typographics.com" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Typographics Festival</a>, focused on the use of type across all design disciplines. Now in its ninth year, the conference will be in-person in the Great Hall at The Cooper Union in Manhattan.</p><p>More details about the conference are available at <a href="https://2023.typographics.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">2023.typographics.com</a>. Links to the livestream will be sent via email from Eventbrite. Some conference speakers (3) have requested that they not be livestreamed, so some speakers won&#x27;t be viewable by livestream. </p><p>Attendees of all Typographics events, both in-person and online, must abide by the <a href="https://2023.typographics.com/conditions/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Code of Conduct and Policies</a>  for the safety and enjoyment of all participants. <strong>Do not register for Typographics events if you do not agree to these terms.</strong></p><h3>Hotel Discounts</h3><p>The Holiday Inn Lower East Side, at 150 Delancey Street, NY, NY 10002 is offering a discount to Typographics attendees from June 12–22. The rate will be $219/night for a room with a King bed and $239/night for a room with two double beds. The hotel is about a 17 minute walk from Cooper Union and the rooms are nice and big by Manhattan standards. It&#x27;s in a fun neighorhood with lots of interesting restaurants, bars and small shops.
