Children will learn about inclusion and pack Good Luck Kits for the athletes participating in Special Olympics Ohio.

Who this Anywhere Project is for:Ages 4-12. Not sure if this project is the right fit for your kids? Email us with questions at programs@seedsofcaring.org.What you'll be doing:Let's cheer on Ohio's Special Olympics athletes! Children will learn about the importance of inclusion through a video and age-appropriate discussion. Then helping hands will pack Good Luck Kits and decorate cheer cards to encourage <a href="https://sooh.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"> Special Olympics Ohio</a> athletes on<a href="https://sooh.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"> </a>competition day. When you'll be doing it:This Anywhere Project can be done at home, school, or wherever you are!This project is on-going. Families and groups may participate anytime until the project ends on March 27th. Donations may be porch-dropped from 9am - 7pm March 24-27. Addresses will be provided in your service packet.How it all works:Once you have completed registration, you will receive a confirmation email from Eventbrite with a link to your service packet. This packet includes project instructions, guided discussions and more. If for some reason you cannot access this file, please email programs@seedsofcaring.org for assistance.The meaning-making:Engaging children’s hearts and minds before getting their hands active with service is a vital step in raising caring, compassionate humans. In every Seeds of Caring service packet, you'll find quick, easy-to-use guides to support you in leading meaning-making conversations! This project's guided discussion focuses on inclusive communities and service.Approximate Cost: $10 for 2 bags with sports drink, energy bar, cheer card and more (full packing list is included in the packet). For cheer card use craft supplies on hand or the printable template provided in the service packet.Why you'll be invited to donate:Every time we're able to design, coordinate, and offer an opportunity for kids to give back, it's with the help of supporters like you.
