Running February through May of 2023, Living Futures Saturdays is a monthly event series featuring climate-engaged presenters from a variety of disciplines. Join us as we listen, learn, and create community and new knowledge. Events will comprise presentations by each of two speakers, followed by community discussion and synthesis. The Season Pass includes discounted tickets to all four Spring Semester events, which will be held on first Saturdays, February - May 2023, 3-5pm. All events are in person at Perfect Lovers on Roxboro Street in Durham, NC. Our mission is to become a hub for programming and projects that combine art, climate work, kinship and community, and that bring together the knowledge of artists, healers, scientists, activists, ancestral wisdom holders, scholars, designers, and storytellers. Our offerings will include speaker series, workshops, performances, and collaborative creative projects. We aim to counteract climate despair, denial, and inaction, and to empower people with the skills and ideas necessary to become changemakers in their own realms and create living futures for people and the planet.Covid &amp; Health: All vaccinated/boosted people are welcome to attend our events.
