North End Makerspace

A zine (/ziːn/ ZEEN; short for magazine or fanzine) is a small-circulation self-published work of original or appropriated texts and images, usually reproduced via a copy machine. We have plenty of tables, some collage materials, pens, papers, paint and glue. We also have a large paper cutter and a folding and stapling machine for use. We do not currently have a printer for use. This is a casual event to get together and make things, or find out more about zines. You are also welcome to simply draw, write,collage, or work on other paper-related crafts. Free to attend, donations greatly appreciated.We are located inside the Villa Flora Apartment building, on the main floor. Enter through the main doors, pass the elevators and then turn right at the first hallway. We are in Suite 108. Exterior doors lock at 8:30pm. If you are not a member with a door code, please plan to arrive before then. North End Makers is a community that runs a makerspace in North Seattle. We are an all-volunteer-run 501(c)(3) non-profit. You may, however, transfer your ticket to another person who is 18 or older. If you need help finding someone to take your spot, you are welcome to post in the class event on our Facebook page or Discord, or ask us to share your email address with the class waitlist.For your personal safety, please wear closed-toe shoes, tie long hair back, and avoid any dangling jewelry or baggy clothing.You do not need to bring a paper ticket.
