Boralex invites you to a virtual discussion about the Newport Solar Project operations and decommissioning.

In community meetings we have heard an interest in learning more about the operations and decommissioning of the solar project. We will hold a virtual public event with the Boralex team
 to discuss these matters.
The Newport Solar Project is proposed to be operational for 30 years. During that time, there will be
 regular maintenance of the panels, supporting equipment and the project site. At the end of the project
 life, Boralex has strict decommissioning obligations to remove the project components and restore the
 site. We’ll provide an overview of these project stages, so you know what to expect during that time.
We encourage all interested parties to attend the online session live, but it will also be recorded and
 posted on the project webpage afterwards. Your questions can be submitted in advance via email or live during the event.
