HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology (www.hudsonalpha.org) is an independent, nonprofit organization with the vision to leverage the synergy between discovery, education, medicine, entrepreneurship and economic development in genomic sciences to improve the human condition around the globe. The HudsonAlpha biotechnology campus consists of 152 acres within Cummings Research Park, one of the world’s leading science and technology parks. The state-of-the-art facilities co-locate nonprofit scientific researchers, entrepreneurs, clinicians and educators for biological research and development. HudsonAlpha is an international leader in genetics and genomics research and education and is home to more than 40 diverse biotech companies on campus. Through singularly-focused efforts as well as collaborations between people of diverse backgrounds, HudsonAlpha crosses boundaries to spark innovation and growth.

The international peanut research committee has traveled the globe since the first International Peanut Conference held in Guangzhou, China.

The International Peanut Genome Initiative (IPGI) united the peanut industry and scientists from around the globe with the goal of mapping and assembling the genome of cultivated peanuts. With the delivery of advanced genomic tools, the future is now here to tackle the most important and complex problems facing peanut production: food safety and security, drought and heat stress, and aflatoxin contamination.Although the coronavirus pandemic kept us physically apart since our last meeting in 2019, the collaborative spirit lived on. We are excited to reunite at the place that delivered the final cultivated peanut genome assembly, HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology.To continue stoking the enthusiasm of the international peanut community, AAGB-2023 will bring together the world&#x27;s top researchers, scientists, and peanut industry leaders to exchange ideas, expand their network, and discuss the latest trends in the global peanut community. The meeting will also highlight young scientists, graduate students and postdocs, who will be the torch bearers for the next generation of peanut innovation.P﻿lease note: The deadline to receive AAGB conference swag with your registration has passed.
