Youngsang Cho was born in Hwaseong, Gyeonggido, South Korea, in 1965. As the son of Hankyu Cho, the founder of KNF, he received KNF technology from him and has been practicing organic farming for 32 years. He graduated from Suwon High School and the Department of Chemistry at Ajou University, completed a master's degree in Horticulture at Chungnam National University, and a Ph.D. in Plant Pathology at Jeonbuk National University.

Tamara Thorn is a Dragonfly Earth Medicine Pure Certified Educator, cannabis farmer, herbalist, mother, yoga instructor, certified massage therapist, holistic healer, and medicinal product formulator. This commitment to the health and well-being of people and the earth has been inspired by her life’s journey.Always an adventurer, she and her young son spent a few years traveling the US and Mexico in a purple Skoolie. During these travels they visited intentional communities and wwoofed (www.wwoofusa.org), exchanging work for hands-on learning. Through this immersive education, Tamara learned herbalism and a variety of beyond organic farming methods. While in Mexico they were also part of a traveling horse caravan (www.nomadsunited.com) that did community outreach through circus performing, environmental education and building biodigesters.In 2010 she became a certified Permaculture Designer, manifested a piece of land and put all that knowledge into practice, growing cannabis, herbs, and food. After hearing Dia Damon at a an education event in 2016, Tamara dived into KNF and JADAM natural farming. Learning so much from Dia and Spencer Damon, she shifted her approach to farming and now implements KNF and JADAM practices along with biodynamic principles on her 120 acre homestead and commercial farm.In 2017 Tamara became the first farmer in Lake County, CA to receive DEM Pure Certification (http://dempurefarms.com) for her commercial farm and homestead. Heal Thyself Gardens is a regenerative herb and hemp farm, located at Thrive Homestead Community which is an education center offering a variety of programs in regenerative agriculture and holistic wellness. Through Heal Thyself Gardens, Tamara has created a wellness product line and offers a number of one-on-one holistic wellness sessions, including herbal nutrition counseling, massage, or Body Talk.

Joey Burger known as “The Humboldt Local” is a Regenerative Cannabis Consultant, Dragonfly Earth Medicine Pure Certified Educator and Permaculture Teacher with over 28 years practicing in the Emerald Triangle's Cannabis Industry. Trained in Permaculture in 1998 by Instructors Tom Hazel Ward and Scott Pittman, Joey was then Mentored by Permacultuture Educator Nadine Chapdelaine and began a career in Regenerative Cannabis that continues to this day. In 2017 Joey attained Dragonfly Earth Medicine Pure Certification for his Licensed Mendocino Cannabis Farm and the same year was certified to teach Permaculture Design Certification courses by Instructors Andrew Millison and Rico Zook. He works to convert the wasteful and environmentally damaging practices of our current cannabis and food production systems by Hosting Workshops, Community Seed Swap Sesh's, Teaching thru his Patreon Subscription Community, and Consulting with Farmers on embracing Closed Loop Natural Farming Practices. With a background in JADAM and Korean Natural Farming he has consulted on cannabis projects worldwide and in 2021 designed and built the licensed acre Hugel garden known as Hugelville. Joey is currently growing Craft Hemp, Commercial Herbs, Sacramental Cannabis, Breeding Seeds, Crafting Natural Farming Inputs, Hosting Grateful Dead Dance Parties, and building a Temple to Nature at Thrive Homestead Community in Lake County, CA.

Preston William Smith Avid Jadam practitioner, Herbalist, Soil food web affiliate, Regenerative farming consultant and Teacher. Preston has dedicated the better part of the last 10 years to studying and integrating Korean natural farming/Jadam and Permaculture into his farming practice. Training w/ master Hankyu Cho, Yangsan Cho, and Chris Trump (Soilsmith Network). He received a level 3 teaching certificate from Master Hankyu Cho in 2019 and has taught workshops in KNF &amp; JADAM across the United States including Pine Ridge Reservation. Passionately dedicated to consulting farms in Regenerative practices, he is the Founder of Rogue Natural Farming and Living Abundance Herbal Apothecary.
