Layering with Encaustic - Art Workshop with Shauna Martin:When: January 21st, 2023 from 11:00 - 1:00 pmWhere: Holiday Inn &amp; Suites in Tomball - 14100 Medical Complex Drive, Tomball, TX 77377Cost per ***student: $60; non-refundable***Due to the heated elements in this class, age is restricted to 14 years of age and older please.Maximum number of seats: 10In this specialty workshop, you will learn all about painting with wax and fusing with heat! We’ll also be doing incising and tinting the surface with pigment sticks. ALL supplies included. We have plenty of supplies here but you are welcome to bring more; your favorite tissue paper (plain or pattern); favorite writings, sayings, poems, magazine cutouts, hand-made papers, fabric, etc. Basically, if you like scrapbooking or journaling, this workshop is for you! This 2 hour workshop is designed for artists of all levels, even those new to encaustic painting. You will leave this workshop with your very own 8”x10” encaustic work of art on wood!Other items students may want to bring are: apron and disposable nitrile gloves.More encaustic workshops happening regularly!!!
