It&#x27;s advocacy season! The Florida Association of Black Chambers is proud to present our second annual Black Chamber Day at the Capitol! Join us along with chamber leaders and members from around the state in Tallahassee for a two day event focused on advocacy! Black Chamber Day at the Capitol is your opportunity to engage elected officials, attend important committee meetings, and interact with key State of Florida staff in order to discuss the ongoing needs of our business community and our chambers. It is your chance to collectively impact state policy with regard to small business in the state. The two day event features a Welcome Reception on Monday, March 27, 2023 from 6-9pm at the Parkview at Cascades in the ballroom. On March 28, we will kick off Black Chamber Day with a press conference at 9am on the Historic Front Steps of the Capitol, attend pre-scheduled meetings with legislators throughout the day, and host a luncheon for Black Chamber Day participants at the Capitol. Black Chamber Day participants include the following Chambers of Commerce (in alphabetical order):1. African-American Chamber of Commerce of Central Florida2. Big Bend Minority Chamber of Commerce of Florida 3. Black Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach 4. B﻿lack CHamber of Commerce at Tampa 5. Broward County Black Chamber of Commerce 6. Greater First Coast Chamber of Commerce 7. Gulf Coast Minority Chamber of Commerce8. Jacksonville Black Chamber of Commerce 9. Manasota Black Chamber of Commerce 10. Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce11. Treasure Coast Black Chamber of Commerce12. South Florida Black Chamber of Commerce 1﻿3. Space Coast Black Chamber of Commerce(﻿More chambers will be added to the list) Members of those Chambers will receive a detailed itinerary for the two day event.
