Artisans is an artist co-op in downtown Mount Dora, Florida.  We specialize in handcrafted artwork of all kinds.  Within our gallery there is a small classroom in which we are offering a variety of classes that are fun and addicting.  You will always be able to take home something you created in class.  The classes are relaxing and intimate.  Please arrive 10 minutes before the class starts.  Downtown parking lots are within walking distance.  Feel free to bring a non-alcoholic beverage.

Learn to create a Mixed Media Steampunk Seahorse on Canvas

Join Mixed Media Artist Lynn Nickels, for this fun class. Learn to create a Steampunk Seahorse on canvas. Lynn will take you step by step through all the basics of creating mixed media art panels. Once you learn these techniques you will be able to create art canvas panels in any theme you wish. Lynn will provide everything you need for this project : canvas, metals, iridescent laser paste, metallic paints, white and clear Gesso, rice paper, embellishments, brushes, and instructions.Class f﻿ee $45Plus $20 for materials is payable in cash to the instructor at the beginning of classN﻿ote: there is a 2 student minimum for this class.
